The 64 meter long ro-ro passenger ferry Heilhorn ran aground near  Sandvikvåg, Norway.  The vessel was just a short distance from the pier when passengers heard a loud thud followed by a grinding noise.  The Heilhorn had run hard aground on an offshore rock. The 13 passengers on board were evacuated to the ferry  Raunefjord assisted by a lifeboat. No reports of injuries. The Heilhorn was later refloated assisted by a lifeboat and proceeded to Sandvikvåg.

The 134 meter long ro-ro ferry Fanafjord allided with the pier at Sandvikvåg, Norway.   The ferry sustain some damage.  No reports of injuries or pollution being released. Reports state the on board computer had malfunctioned causing the accident.   The cause of the allision is being investigated by authorities.
