TG92942 Explosion

The fishing vessel TG92942 suffered an explosion in it’s engine room while fishing in the South China Sea (07 53N 108 32E). All four crewmen were injured, but were able to send out a distress signal. A nearby vessel responded and transferred the crewmen off the TG92942 and proceeded to the BP Lan Tay gas field for treatment.

Fishing Vessel Disabled

The fishing vessel QNg 90046 was reported disabled and adrift in the South China Sea (15 16N 110 50E) due to engine failure. No further details reported.

BD96340 Disabled

The fishing vessel BD96340 was reported adrift and disabled due to damage to the vessel’s engine. The vessel and it’s 6 crewmen were last reported in the South China Sea (06 26.7N 105 16.6E).
