Sv. Ap. Andrey
On October 16, the 80 meter long self-propelled barge Sv. Ap. Andrey ran aground on the Danube River near Osterhofen, Germany. The Sv. Ap. Andrey was proceeding to Regensburg from Passau with a cargo of steel pipes when it ran aground while allowing a passing vessel from the opposite direction. The barge sustained damage to its steering gear and rudder, but no reports of injuries or pollution released.
