Perseus

The 158 meter long, 14483 dwt container ship Perseus ran aground at the entrance of the harbour of Torshavn, Faroe Islands. Two tugs were dispatched to the scene and were able to refloat the Perseus the same day.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released. The Perseus departed the following day bound for Reykjavik.

GREEN_MALOYThe 108 meter long, 6120 dwt freighter Green Maloy went aground at Torshavn, Faroe Islands.  The cargo vessel was leaving port bound for Gibraltar when it went aground.  The crew was able to refloat the vessel and proceeded back to its berth.   No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
