The 60 meter long fishing vessel Kapitan Naumov ran aground near Tønsnes, Norway.  The Kapitan Naumov was bound for Eemshaven when it ran up onto a reef.  Authorities were notified that vessel was aground and dispatched a police patrol boat to the scene.  The police found the master of the Kapitan Naumov was under the influence of alcohol and was detained.  The Kapitan Naumov was later refloated and proceeded under its own power to Breivika. No reports of damage or pollution released.

The 13 meter long workboat Borebas ran aground off the island of  Ryøya near Tromsø, Norway.  The Borebas suffered water ingress, but neither of the two crew on board were injured.  Two fishing vessels came to the aid of the Borebas until a lifeboat arrived on scene. A dewatering pump was delivered while booms were placed around the Borebas to contain any pollution released.

The 93 meter long, 3543 dwt reefer Stigfoss allided with a quay at Tromsdalen, Norway. The Stigfoss was attempting to berth when it suffered engine failure.  Unable to slow down, the reefer stuck the quay.  The Stigfoss suffered hull damage with a ballast tank punctured.  No reports of injuries or pollution released. Local reports state the vessel will require repairs taking one to two weeks.
