CSL Trimnes Aground
The 17309 dwt freighter CSL Trimnes went aground while off Trøndelag, Norway. The vessel had struck the reefs during the night and was unable to free itself. The vessel Harald V arrived on scene and was able to pull free the CSL Trimnes. All 19 crew on board were uninjured. The Trimnes was sailing in ballast only. The Trimnes is proceeding to Rørvik for inspection. The cause of the grounding was not known at the time of the report. No reports of damage or pollution released.
