Mokosica
The 66 meter long, 1784 dwt freighter Mokosica became disabled near Valderøya, Norway. The freighter had suffered engine failure and drifted off course. The Mokosica drifted toward the rocks at Valderøya, but the crew was able to drop anchor just short of a small pier. A NSSR lifeboat was requested and arrived on scene to take the Mokosica under tow. The vessels proceeded out of the bay to Ålesund. No reports of injuries to the six crew on board, damage or pollution released.
