J. Henry Dunant Fire
A fire broke out on the 97 meter long passenger vessel J. Henry Dunant while it was moored at Tiel, Netherlands on the Waal River. The fire started in the engine room and was quickly put out by the crew using extinguishers. There were no passengers on board at the time of the fire. Passengers were later allowed to board the vessel as damage was minor. The J. Henry Dunant is chartered by the Red Cross who organizes trips for people who have special needs, chronically ill and the disabled. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution being released.
