The 25 meter long fishing vessel Deo Volente ARM-25 suffered damage in the North Sea while off Stellendam, Netherlands. Several large waves crashed into the wheelhouse causing most of the equipment to fail.   The Deo Volente’s beacon went off which alerted the KNRM who dispatched a lifeboat to the scene.   The lifeboat was able to communicate with the fishing vessel who still had communications and were able to keep the vessel under control.   Both vessels returned to Stellendam.   No reports of injuries or pollution being released.
