The freighter was proceeding downbound with 62,000 tons of coal when it grounded at the bow. After the bow struck the Paul R. Tregurtha swung around until the vessel’s stern was hard aground with the span of the vessel blocking the navigation channel. No reports of injuries or pollution released.
