The 190 meter long, 39695 dwt bulk freighter Rio Gold went aground in the Andaman Sea near Preparis Island, Myanmar.   No reports of injuries or pollution released.  The vessel was en route to Chittagong from Tianjin.  No further details reported.

The 58 meter long self-propelled barge Orenburg pushing the barge UDP C-447 allided with a bridge on the Enns near Mauthausen, Austria.   The vessels had steered to close to the Mauthausen side of the river and struck a pilling.    The barge suffered damage to its bow.  No reports of injuries or pollution released.   Authorities allowed the vessel to proceeded to a nearby estuary.

Yasa H. Mulla

On April 28, the 229 meter long bulk freighter Yasa H. Mulla allided with a pier at Port Said, Egypt.  The freighter was entering the Suez when it’s starboard bow struck causing hull damage.  No reports of injuries or pollution released.   The Yasa H. Mulla proceeded to a nearby shipyard for repairs.
