The fishing vessel sustained hull damage and water ingress. No reports of injuries or pollution released. The Ocean Ranger was able to refloat itself and proceeded to a nearby salvage yard.
The 132 meter long, 4190 dwt tanker Volgoneft 151 ran aground on the Svir River near the 954 kilometer mark. The Volgoneft 151 was en route to Yaroslavl from St. Petersburg when it went out of the fairway. No reports of injuries. The Volgoneft 151 sustained damage to its ballast tanks.
