The 164 meter long bulk carrier Good Faith ran aground in the Aegean Sea along the coast of Andros Island, Greece. The bulk carrier had departed from Eleusis in ballast bound for the Odessa, Ukraine.  During the night, the Good Faith had encountered stormy weather with gale strength winds. The bulk carrier was blown on to the rocky shoreline.  The vessel’s hull was punctured and suffered water ingress. The master of the Good Faith requested assistance and evacuation of the 22 crew on board.  The Greek Coast Guard along with Air Force helicopters responded to the scene. The helicopters were able to hoist all 22 crew off the vessel safely. Authorities dispatched anti-pollution vessel to the scene along with three tugs.  Reports state a Lloyds Open Form has been signed. No reports of injuries.

The 80 meter long ro-ro ferry Malangen allided with the pier at Vannøy, Norway. The Malangen was maneuvering when strong winds pushed the ferry into the pier. The vessel sustained a gash in the bow. No reports of injuries or pollution released. The Malangen proceeded to a shipyard in Tromsø for repairs.

The 37 meter long fishing vessel Den Hoope – O 231 ran aground off Stellendam, Netherlands. The Den Hoope had departed from Le Havre when it stranded in shallow water.  The KNRM lifeboat was called to assist. The lifeboat was able to pull the Den Hoope into deeper water.  The Den Hoope was proceeded into the port of Stellendam.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
