Orion

On October 31, the 79 foot long fishing vessel Orion became disabled off Cape Ann, Massachusetts. The trawler had suffered a mechanical fault causing engine failure. The Orion sent out a distress call with the Coast Guard responding. The Coast Guard dispatched the cutter Key Largo to the scene. The cutter was able to pass a line and began towing the Orion back to Gloucester.  A few hours later, another fishing vessel took over the tow. Both fishing vessels reach Gloucester safely.  No reports of injuries to the 5 crew of the Orion, damage or pollution released.
