On November 17, the 23 meter long high speed catamaran ferry Rygercruise became disabled on the Rødne Fjord, Norway. The Rygercruise was en route from Mostraumen to Bergen when a 100 meters of rope fouled one of the two propellers.
The vessel contacted authorities which dispatched the Coast Guard vessel Tyr to the scene. The Tyr took the Rygercruise under tow and proceeded to Bergen. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
