Saint Philippe
On the evening of July 28, the 15 meter long, 103 gt fishing vessel Saint Philippe (IMO: 9917440) was damaged in the English Channel off coast of Fort de l’Heurt, France. The Saint Philippe had suffered damage to the engine resulting in a power blackout on the vessel. The trawler requested assistance with the SNSM station in Boulogne-sur-Mer responding. The 18 meter long SNSM lifeboat Président Jacques Huret (MMSI: 227003610) was dispatched and took the Saint Philippe under tow and proceeded to Boulogne-sur-Mer. No reports of injuries or pollution released.
