The fishing vessel Atlantic Breeze ran aground near the entrance to Nassau Sound near Jacksonville, Florida on June 5, 2012.   The fishing vessel suffered water ingress and The Coast Guard rescued the three crew on board the Atlantic Breeze and took them safely ashore.  The Atlantic Breeze later capsized and sank.   The Atlantic Breeze was later salvaged by MOBRO Marine and Thomas Contracting.   The fishing vessel was safely removed from the sound on July 5.   The salvage was delayed by tropical storm Debby for 10 days.

The fishing vessel Atlantic Breeze ran aground near the entrance to Nassau Sound near Jacksonville, Florida.  The fishing vessel suffered water ingress and the crew sent out a distress call to the Coast Guard.  The Coast Guard dispatched the 45 foot rescue boat to the scene.  The Coast Guard rescued the three crew on board the Atlantic Breeze and took them safely ashore.  No reports of injuries.
