On April 27, the 10 meter long fishing vessel Cornelis Sr. – UK 3 became disabled a few miles offshore from Scheveningen, Netherlands. The Cornelis Sr. had gone adrift after suffering engine failure.  The crew requested assistance with the KNRM responding. The KNRM dispatched a lifeboat to the scene and took the Cornelis Sr. under tow.  The two vessels proceeded to Scheveningen. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

The 24 meter long fishing vessel Jacoba Aleida UK-266 ran aground off Ouddorp, Netherlands. The KNRM lifeboat from Ouddorp was dispatched to the scene. The lifeboat attempted to refloat the Jacoba Aleida, but the  fishing vessel remained stuck. Another lifeboat arrived and also attempted to refloat the Jacoba Aleida without success. Another fishing vessel also attempted to pull the Jacoba Aleida free, but the fishing vessel continued to be stuck in the pounding surf. Finally, a tug was requested and it was able to pull the Jacoba Aleida free on the rising tide. No reports of injuries. The tug towed the Jacoba Aleida to Stellendam.

The 23 meter long, 122 gt fishing vessel Kingfisher became disabled near Den Helder, Netherlands. The trawler had departed from a nearby shipyard when it suffered engine failure.  The crew requested assistance with the Den Helder KNRM lifeboat dispatched to the scene.

The lifeboat reached the Kingfisher and was able to attach a towline. Another lifeboat from Oudeschild arrived to assist steering the trawler into port. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

Reports state the crew were able to make repairs and continue on its voyage.
