Coriolis II

Coriolis II

The 50 meter long, 290 dwt research vessel Coriolis II ran aground in the Gulf of St. Lawrence near Pointe-des-Monts, Quebec, Canada.  The research vessel  struck an uncharted shoal, but did not suffer major damage.   No reports of injuries to the 24 people on board.   The Coriolis II was able to proceed to Baie Comeau where it was to undergo inspection.
