Efstratios

Efstratios

The 88 meter long, 2954 dwt freighter Efstratios went aground in the Aegean Sea near Agia Marina, Greece.   The vessel suffered no hull breaches and no reports of water ingress.  Attempts to refloat itself failed as the Efstratios was hard aground requiring the assistance of a salvage tug.  No injuries or pollution released.   The Efstratios was en route to an unreported Greek port with a cargo of sunflower.
