The 30 meter long, 91 dwt r0-ro ferry Fjordbas went aground near  Bjelkerøy, Norway.  The ferry went aground after alliding with pier at Bjelkerøy.   The pier was damaged along with another vessel.   No injuries to the two passengers and two crew on board at the time.  The NSSR dispatched a lifeboat to the scene which was able to pull the Fjordbas free. The Fjordbas proceeded to Hjellestad where the ferry will be inspected.  The Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
