The 20 meter long fishing vessel  Howling Gale became disabled in Broadford Bay, Scotland.  The Howling Gale had suffered engine failure and went adrift.  The vessel sent out a distress call with the RNLI lifeboat from Kyle of Lochalsh responding.  The RNLI lifeboat arrived on scene just as the vessel was just about to wash ashore. The lifeboat crew were able to pass a towline and pull the Howling Gale to safety.  The vessels proceeded to  Broadford later the same day.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
