Lauren Dorothy

The 53 foot fishing vessel Lauren Dorothy sank off Virginia Beach, Virginia.  The Lauren Dorothy contacted the Coast Guard that the vessel had suffered water ingress and was needing assistance. A helicopter was dispatched to the scene and hoisted the  2 crew to safety.  No reports of injuries.

Blue Dream

BLUE_DREAMThe 112 meter long LPG Tanker Blue Dream went aground in the Aegean Sea near Kos Island, Greece.  The Blude Dream was en route to Suez from Kerch, Ukraine when it grounded.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.  The tanker was able to refloat itself and proceeded to Kos to be inspected.

GULEN

The 88 meter long, 900 dwt ro-ro passenger ferry Gulen allided with the quay at Hella, Norway.  The ferry struck the pier resulting in a small hole in the hull.  No reports of injuries to the 17 passengers on board.  The vessel was pulled out of service for repairs.
