The 143 meter long ro-ro passenger ferry Prevelis ran aground off an islet near Santorin, Greece.  The Prevelis, loaded with 190 passengers from Piraeus, struck the islet Aspronisi while attempting to enter the port at Santorin. Divers inspected the hull and found no damage.  The Prevelis proceeded under its own power to Santorin.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.  Initial reports state the vessel may have lost power before it went aground.
