Fast Herman
On May 21, the 83 meter long, 3480 dwt cargo vessel Fast Herman ran aground in the Baltic Sea near Ruegen, Germany. The Fast Herman was en route to Luebeck from Szczecin when it stranded on the Prerow Bank. The vessel was not able to free itself and requested assistance. A tug was dispatched to the scene and was able to pull the Fast Herman free. The vessels proceeded to Rostock where the Fast Herman will undergo an inspection. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
