Rose of Aran

Rose of Aran

The passenger ferry Rose of Aran went aground 25 meters off the shore of Doolin, Ireland.   The ferry with just four crewmen on board got stuck on the rocks, but suffered no damage.    The Doolin Coast Guard inspected the vessel and check for any pollution risk.   The ferry was able to free itself a few hours later with the rising tide.   No reports of injury or pollution being released.   The Rose of Aran regularly runs between Crab Island and Doolin.
