The 66 meter long, 1564 dwt freighter Vestborg went aground in Steinsvik Bay near Bolandet, Norway.  The freighter was approaching the port terminal when it failed to stop and continued until it ran ashore.   No reports of injuries to the six crew on board, damage or pollution released.   The vessel contacted authorities who dispatched a NSSR lifeboat to the scene.   The lifeboat HalfDan Grieg refloated the Vestborg later the next day.   The Vestborg was able to proceed under its own power to a quat at Torvik.   The authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
