Seafaris
The 41 meter long luxury yacht Seafaris caught fire, exploded, and sank while off Queensland, Australia. The Seafaris was off Cape Tribulation with eight crew and eight passengers when one of the crew discovered the vessel was on fire. A distress call was sent out and before all 16 on board escaped into the vessel’s life rafts. They were later rescued by a passing container ship. After several hours the Seafaris burned until it sank. No reports of injuries.
