The 35 meter long fishing vessel Kas Ken HG-77 became disabled off Gonvika, Norway. The Kas Ken HG-77 went adrift in 5 meter waves when its propeller became fouled by its own net.  The 4 man crew was pulling up the net when it jammed into the vessel’s propeller.  The crew requested assistance with the Coast Guard vessel and NSSR lifeboat responding. The rescue boats arrived and took the Kas Ken HG-77 under tow back to Gonvika.  There the net was cut free by divers. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
