On October 18, the 10 meter long fishing vessel Frisk Fisk S521 allided with the quay at Skagen, Denmark.  The Frisk Fisk was arriving at the quay when it suffered as steering failure when a cable snapped. Unable to steer, the fishing vessel struck the quay sustaining significant bow damage. The local rescue station responded to the scene.  Using a dewatering pump, they were able to keep the Frisk Fisk afloat to allow the crew to unload the cargo of fish and lobsters.  However, an hour later the Frisk Fisk sank to the bottom.  The following day, a crane lifted the Frisk Fisk and hoist the vessel onto the quay.  Reports state the damage was enough to make the vessel a total loss. No reports of injuries.
