The 114 meter long general cargo vessel Pindushi ran aground on the Volga River at the 3053 kilometer mark. The Pindushi had run aground while attempting to drop anchor.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released. The Pindushi was en route to Bandar Anzali from Astrakhan.
