The 33 meter long passenger ship Jens Albrecht found it stuck in the mud in the outer harbor of Hooksiel, Germany. The Jens Albrecht, loaded with 132 passengers, was caught with the lowering tide and found itself stranded. The master contacted the GMRS who dispatched rescue vessels from Hooksiel and Horumersiel. The rescue vessels successfully unloaded all 132 passengers to Hooksiel. The Jens Albrecht refloated under its own power with the next rising tide. No reports of injuries.
