Red Vixen

Red Vixen

The 10 meter long, 9 ton fishing vessel Red Vixen became disabled after engine failure while off Plymouth, England.   The fishing vessel requested assistance and the RNLI launched a lifeboat to the scene.  The Red Vixen was taken under tow and safely returned to Plymouth harbour.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution being released.

Amur 2537

The 116 meter long, 3332 dwt freighter Amur 2537 went aground on an embankment in the Kiel Canal near Oldenbüttel, Germany.   The freighter was able to refloat itself and proceeded on its voyage to Liepaja.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution was released.

Princess Victoria

Princess Victoria

The 99 meter long, 890 dwt ro-ro ferry Princess Victoria went aground while entering the port at Kavkaz, Russia.   The Princess Victoria required assistance from three tugs, but was able to reach its berth.  Divers will inspect the vessel for damage.   No reports of injuries or pollution being released.
