The 36 meter long fishing vessel Nuevo Ria Aldan went aground near Ardnakinna Lighthouse, Berrehaven, Ireland.  The vessel had run onto the rocks and requested assistance from the RNLI.   The RNLI dispatched a lifeboat to the scene and pulled the 11 crew of the Nuevo Ria Aldan ashore.  The fishing vessel was refloated on the next high tide and taken to Castletownbere.   Authorities inspected the area for any pollution released and damage to the Nuevo Ria Aldan.

The 115 meter long, 3332 dwt freighter Dolphin went aground on the River Don near Azov, Russia.  No reports of injuries.  The vessel was headed to Kerch from Rostov-on-Don with a cargo of barley.  No further details reported.
