The 267 meter long, 52089 dwt container ship Bangkok Bridge became disabled in the Unimak Pass near Unalaska, Alasaka. The vessel had lost power when its engines failed and was adrift. The crew was able to restart the engines and proceeded to Summer Bay off Unalaska for repairs. The Coast Guard has ordered the vessel to remain at anchor until the repairs can be inspected. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released. The Bangkok Bridge had departed from Shanghai bound for Long Beach, California.
