The 129 meter long, 7212 dwt freighter Ussuri went aground in the Sea of Japan in Dzhigit Bay off Primorye, Russia.   The Ussuri was at anchor when a storm struck causing the vessel to drift until it went aground onto the rocky bottom.  The Ussuri suffered damage to its hull with its ballast tanks damaged and some water ingress into its engine room.   No reports of injuries or pollution released.   The crew requested assistance with the icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov responding.   The icebreaker was able to refloat the Ussuri a few days later.  The Ussuri proceeded to an anchorage to be inspected.
