On September 13, the 110 meter long river passenger ship Avalon Luminary allided with a restaraunt on the River Main in Würzburg, Germany. The Avalon Luminary had departed from the quay in Marienberg with 187 passengers and 51 crew when it hit the floating restaurant Mainkuh.  The 60 people on board the Mainkuh ran up on deck fearing the vessel was about to sink, but the restaurant had not suffered any significant damage. The Avalon Luminary on sustained minor scratches.  No reports of injuries or pollution released.  The Avalon Luminary was allowed to continue its journey to Amsterdam.
