The 42 foot long fishing vessel Tamara ran aground near Ocean Shores, Washington. The Tamara had gone aground in shallow water and the two crew  rescued assistance.  A motor lifeboat was dispatched to the scene, but the water was too shallow to reach the stranded fishing vessel. A Jayhawk helicopter arrived on scene and hoisted the crew to safety.  The two men were taken to a local hospital for evaluation.  Reports state pollution was spotted around the vessel.  The Tamara had up to 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel on board at the time of the grounding. A response crew has been contracted to clean up the pollution.
