The 119 meter long, 3280 dwt inland bulk freighter Nefterudovoz-52M ran aground on the Volga River near the 2657 kilometer mark.  The Nefterudovoz-52M was refloated later the same day and continued on its voyage.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution being released.   The vessel was en route to Astrakhan from Rostov-on-Don with 2761 tons of steel.
