The 169 meter long, 15933 dwt container ship Flottbek allided with a quay at Bremerhaven.   The Flottbek was attempting to dock when it struck  the quay.   The vessel’s hull was punctured while the quay suffered some damage.   No reports of injuries or pollutoin released.   The Flottbek was allowed to proceed and departed for Hamburg.
