The 24 meter long trawler Bridget Carmel collided with the 239 meter long tanker Ocean Lady near Wicklow harbor, Ireland. The trawler sustained some damage to its fishing gear, but no damage below the waterline. The RNLI lifeboats from Holyhead and Wicklow assisted the trawler as it proceeded back to Wicklow under its own power. The three crew on the Bridget Carmel were uninjured, but shaken by the incident. The Ocean Lady sustained no damaged and proceeded on its voyage. No pollution was released.
